Day 8: 14-October

What is the talk between people today?


1.     People are debating whether there will be a ground invasion of Gaza, how far they will enter, and what happens if they invade. 

2.     Today, many speak about the conspiracy theory and the political plan of transferring Gazans to Sanai in Egypt, which Israel has always dreamed of. Egypt is asked to open a safe passage for civilians to enter Sinai, which will become another refugee crisis if this takes place.  

A Daring Question: I wonder if it is possible to live in a world where there is no Gaza. 1948. 1967. 2023? Will Palestinians have another Nakba, another ethnic cleansing debacle in plain sight, while the world allows it?

The world watches many tragedies unfold in many countries!!

Main point: This is a very critical time in the Palestinian cause. There are unimaginable scenarios that this could develop into. It could be the beginning of the end, and the ending in light of the current situation can go either way: a serious resolution, a long-term truce, or a decisive blow to the cause.  A third possible scenario is something in between where this war is neither lost nor won by either side, but this is ultimately a win for the weaker side.

Israel has already considered what happened an existential threat and a monumental blow to its image as a powerful country. It will do anything to restore this image and instill fear back in our hearts.

  Gaza Has Fragmented Me Pile of Emotions: Part two I am sharing my soul’s pain about Gaza. I wish I had a more hopeful piece of writing to share on New Year’s Eve. But this is what I found reverberating in my heart. I wish for whoever is safe and has food and water to feel a sense of bliss. The Bliss of Being Alive: I express gratitude for my family's safety every night, Al-Hamdulillah. Bliss is present in every second we are alive, and every inhale free from the burns of war and residues of bombs. This is the gift of Gaza, the gift of bloody conflicts for all humans.
